Job Description

Assists in operation of manufacturing process systems and the maintenance thereof; Implements cost reduction opportunities (yield and productivity improvements, waste elimination); Works with and trains bargaining unit employees to improve work processes and product quality; Works to minimize or eliminate safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity problems; Uses hand and machine tools, precision gauges, test instruments, and process equipment; Performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to obtain Security ClearanceAssociates degree in Science, Electronics or equivalent OR at least 2 years of relevant work experienceEffective communication and documentation skillsExperience in training individualsAbility to handle multiple high priorities; comfort with ambiguityMust possess basic MS Office skills; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint…

Preferred Skills:

Experience with various forms of deposition processes (e-beam evaporation, sputtering) and wet etching processesExperience writing MS Access queriesProficiency with statistical analysis software; Minitab, JMP, SAS…Ability to collaborate with all facets of the Night Vision organizationComfortable with self-initiating business and professional improvementsAbility to support the organizational culture and build morale
