Engineering Technical Expert - Remote (US)

As an Engineering Technical Expert, you will:

Facilitate the standardization of engineering drawings to match the library Provide hands on support of engineering standards, including but not limited to standard system drawings Primary area of focus: Building Automation Systems Engineering Secondary areas of focus: Fire and Security Systems Engineering Frontline resource to develop/support standardized library: Including: Mechanical Equipment Valve & Damper Actuators Sensors Specialty Equipment or End Devices Support Designs for Specialized Systems: Complex Air & Hydronic Systems Critical Environments Smoke Control Total Room Automation Title 24, ASHRAE Guideline 36, etc. Actively participate in growth or business excellence meetings representing the engineering team Contribute to the development of efficient engineering tools, workflows and national standards Provide leadership and direction to ensure quality, efficiency, reuse are achieved Support resources as a subject matter expert on engineering tools and processes Ensure all control systems comply with any standards and regulations Accountable for incorporating additional product capabilities and ensuring maximum reuse of library designs and programs Act as a resource to Design Engineers/Programmers for Sequence of Operations Support Collaborates with Programming Technical Experts and Graphics Technical Expert Travel as needed up to 20% (to include international travel)

You'll make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma or state-recognized GED 5+ years of experience with Siemens engineering tools 5+ years of experience developing HVAC controls strategies Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Demonstrated proficiency/aptitude in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and business software systems Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship Must be 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor's degree 8+ years of experience with Siemens engineering tools 8+ years of experience developing HVAC controls strategies Candidates in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metro Area who are able to work in a hybrid (on-site/remote) work structure are preferred

The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
