Your Role:
As an Engineering Technical Specialist in our cleanroom manufacturing environment, you will bridge the gap between maintenance and engineering, playing a critical role in supporting production operations and driving technical improvements. This position schedule is the following: Thursday-Monday, with working hours from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM EST.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and Resolve Issues: Troubleshoot mechanical and electromechanical systems, including manual, semi-automated, and automated equipment, to minimize downtime and improve reliabilityCollaborate Across Teams: Partner with Engineers, Preventative Maintenance (PM) Technicians, and production staff to implement technical solutions and ensure operational excellenceExecute and Optimize Processes: Support validation protocols, modify and improve equipment setups, and contribute to process optimization projectsDocument and Standardize: Create, revise, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation to ensure consistency and complianceSupport Preventative Maintenance: Assist in designing and improving preventative maintenance plans based on equipment performance and historical dataApply Technical Expertise: Utilize advanced knowledge of pneumatics, sensors, servos, and troubleshooting techniques to solve complex equipment challengesEnsure Compliance: Uphold company policies, regulatory requirements, and cGMP standards while maintaining a cleanroom environmentDrive Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for technical enhancements, including automation, process improvements, and efficiency gains

 

Who You Are

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or other engineering disciplines3+ years of experience in manufacturing, with a focus on equipment troubleshooting and process improvement (pneumatics, sensors, and automation)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or other engineering disciplinesExperience in cleanroom manufacturing environments and familiarity with cGMP requirementsProactive in problem-solving with a detail-oriented approachAbility to collaborate across disciplines, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlinesKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologiesExperience with technical documentation, equipment validation, and process optimizationStrong sense of urgency and a positive, solutions-focused attitude
