The assembler is responsible producing quality products to specifications of customers as defined on the product prints and routers. Full participation in activities in the clean room (assembly, heat sealing, cleaning, packing, etc.) to achieve on-time shipment goals and efficiency targets.

Job Description
This position is responsible for supporting the maintenance and engineering department with troubleshooting, repairing, and improving elements within current processes, and assisting in the development and fabrication of new tooling for molding and extrusion. Promotes a safe working environment, complies with proper use of PPE, reports incidents, and participates in functional department safety meetings. Exhibits good environmental practices and procedures consistent with job(s) performed and EMS (Environmental Management System) requirements.
Essential Functions
• Setup, and operate CNC machines. Machine parts to specifications on detail prints provided, or as instructed.
• Setup, and operate manuals. Machine parts to specifications on detail prints provided, or as instructed.
• Set up tooling, work pieces, and CNC machine offsets as needed.
• Assist Production and Engineering departments on lean projects and identify opportunities for SMED events.
• Work with Production Supervisor to create a better training program for new operators
• Recommend improvements and implement for tooling and processes.
Work Experience Requirements
5+ years proven experience in CNC Machining (Lathe, Mill (1-5 axis), EDM, VMC (Required)
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
CNC Programming - MaterCam Software (Preferred)
5+ years of plastics manufacturing within extrusion, molding, compounding (Preferred)
