AGCO is seeking a talented, passionate, and highly motivated professional to join the Specialty Team as an Engineering Technician based in Omaha, Nebraska. In this role, you will create engineering models and drawings for customer approvals and manufacturing execution of sampling, cleaning, and weighing equipment for grain, fertilizer, and other bulk materials. This role is a critical part of providing a quick turnaround on engineering documentation to our customers and our manufacturing team. This position requires onsite training in Omaha, but permanent location could be either in Omaha or in our Paris, IL facility. Flexible work schedules including some days as work-from-home are possible.

 

Your Impact

Create 3D models and 2D drawings for customer approval, manufacturing, and field assembly using Creo software. Configure and design variations of current product to meet customer order requirements Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure manufacturability of designs Facilitate updates/design changes to current product Check and review peers’ drawings and designs

Your Experience and Qualifications

Associates Degree in Design or Drafting Solid modeling proficiency and understanding of mechanical design and engineering best practices, utilizing 3D modeling for various material and manufacturing processes Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) Ability to work with a cross-functional team Strong work ethic and ability to manage tasks and work independently Willingness to travel when required
