Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a DRAM Engineering Group (DEG) System Compatibility Engineering Technician. Your responsibilities will include conducting functional systems tests and resolving initial problems. Additional responsibilities involve receiving samples for testing and logging them into a tracking database, performing the testing, and providing detailed records of the test results. You will verify product specifications, collect testing data, and communicate results or issues. In this role you will work closely with various engineering groups, Industrial Engineering, and both internal and external customers

What’s Encouraged Daily:

Lead lab system utilization for qualification testing

Install product, perform functional tests, and record results

Setup and configure computer systems

Verify Hardware, Firmware (including BIOS), and Software configurations

How To Qualify:

3+ years of relevant validated experience with module testing and computer systems

Prior experience using logic analyzers and oscilloscopes to collect and analyze data preferred

Understanding of hardware, firmware and software preferred, but not required

Able to work 12-hour Shifts on days or nights with some weekends

What Sets You Apart:

Two-year industry related associate degree; working towards a STEM related degree; or equivalent military training and experience

Knowledge of MAM tracking and shipping product

Knowledge in computer systems and/or DRAM operation

Excellent collaboration, problem-solving, and analytical skills
