Job Title: Engine Test Lab Technician
Location: Raymond, Ohio
Job Type: Full-time
Shift: 1st shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM), 42-45 hours per week
Pay Rate: $22-$26 per hour
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Automotive Engineering Test Lab Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for switching engine parts and prepping/deprepping engines for testing. Key responsibilities include mounting engines and transmissions, connecting and setting up test parts, calibrating sensors, and tracking test parts.
Responsibilities:
Switch engine parts and prepare engines for testing.Mount engines and transmissions.Connect and set up test parts.Calibrate sensors and track test parts.Set up tests by putting sensors on vehicles, removing parts, adding instrumentation devices, and swapping out parts.Collaborate with the engineering team to conduct tests and collect data.Requirements:
Automotive Technology experience (preferably with an associate degree from institutions like UNOH, Columbus State, Clark State, Marion Tech, or Delaware Career Center).Automotive Technician experience, including engine and transmission work, overall car maintenance, and fabrication (welding/fabricating parts).Clean driving record with no driving restrictions.Knowledge of engine teardown/assembly and sensor calibration is preferred.Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.About Actalent
