Job Title: Engineering Technician Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technician with over 5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electronics, particularly in the service and repair of camera systems. This role involves calibration, programming, root cause analysis, and system performance testing. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment, utilizing advanced lab instrumentation and test equipment. Responsibilities + Service and repair of camera systems. + Calibrate and program systems before shipment to customers. + Conduct root cause analysis and document failures. + Perform electronics and board-level rework of Surface-Mount Technology (SMT). + Develop and execute tests using lab instrumentation. + Conduct system performance testing and benchmarking. + Test and troubleshoot analog and high-speed digital circuits. Essential Skills + 5+ years of demonstrated experience in the service and repair of camera systems. + Associate's degree or equivalent in Electronics Technology. + Excellent debugging and rework skills. + Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel. + Familiarity with schematic capture tools, including Altium. + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with LabVIEW is desirable. + Experience with Altium. + Proficiency in programming languages such as C, Python, or other automation coding languages. + Mobility to work in a standard office setting and electrical laboratory. + Ability to use standard office equipment, including a computer. + Ability to read computer screens and printed materials. Work Environment This role operates in a standard office setting as well as in an electrical laboratory. You will be expected to use standard office equipment. The work environment is fast-paced and team-oriented, requiring effective communication and collaboration skills.
