Engineering Technician

Job Description Assemble and test complex mechanical/electrical systems in a cleanroom environment. Support process improvements, engineering testing, lean initiatives, and quality improvements. Responsibilities + Produce products in accordance with established specifications. + Observe and report regular and ongoing problems in the construction and operation of products. + Support problem-solving efforts and contribute to product and process improvements. + Manufacture and deliver high-level, complex systems according to established procedures. + Solve technical problems that occur during production. + Set an example for other team members and oversee the entire process from assembly to testing. + Act as a reference source for problem-solving in your area of expertise. + Actively contribute to the pilot production process and transition to volume production. + Be responsible for the development and improvement of TPD, processes, records, and other relevant topics. + Investigate the impact of new procedures before implementation and propose ideas for product improvement. + Acquire sufficient knowledge of new and established products, processes, modifications, sub-modules, and complete systems. + Have an in-depth understanding of the correlation between modules and the whole system and their relationship with other sub-systems. + Pass on relevant expertise to team members. + Support good teamwork by seeking solutions and ideas from input and implementing departmental tasks. + Coordinate activities in the production plan and monitor the practical situation. + Closely control the use of tools, materials, and equipment. Essential Skills + Blueprint reading + Mechanical and electrical assembly + Lean manufacturing + Engineering + Kaizen + Process improvement + Testing and troubleshooting + Cleanroom experience + Electronics + Schematic reading + Test equipment handling Additional Skills & Qualifications + AS or BS Degree preferred in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Chemical fields, or equivalent experience. + Manufacturing internship or co-op experience. + Lean Manufacturing Training (e.g., Intro to Lean, 5S, Kaizen, VSM) preferred. + Mechanical skills Work Environment Multiple shifts are available, including 2nd Shift and CWW Nights N1 & N2. 2nd Shift runs from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with a 10% shift differential. CWW Nights offer a 15% shift differential with daily overtime. N1 schedule includes Week 1: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (6 PM to 6 AM) and Week 2: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. N2 schedule includes Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (6 PM to 6 AM) and Week 2: Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Third shift: M-F - 10 pm to 6 am Monday to Friday This role requires working in a cleanroom environment.
