You will apply general knowledge of various types of construction contracts, project delivery methods, and various agency laws and regulations. You will provide engineering support services in the field of construction contracts between military personnel and private contractors. You will support the management and administration of complex and challenging construction projects in various locations with critical and time-sensitive missions and functions. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying technical expertise in the field of construction to include building various mechanical and electrical systems, materials and methods, and safety management; AND ensuring that projects are completed in accordance with contract requirements, safety and environmental policies and regulations, and in coordination with other agencies and/or contractors. GS-9: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-7 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying technical expertise in the field of construction to include building various mechanical and electrical systems, materials and methods, and safety management. This announcement uses the Certain Personnel of the DoD direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. If selected below the full performance level, you may be noncompetitively promoted to the next higher grade level after meeting all regulatory requirements, and upon the recommendation of management.
