Engineering Technician
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will perform test duties and troubleshooting to the component level on complex electrical products. Key responsibilities include: + Performing test duties and troubleshooting to the component level on complex electrical products. + Diagnosing test equipment or fixture failures and taking corrective action. + Setting up and adjusting manual and/or automatic test equipment. + Collaborating with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to clarify designs and suggest manufacturing improvements. + Recording and reporting detailed technical problems to Test Engineers, Design Engineers, or Test Supervisors. + Determining methods and sequences for new assignments and providing guidance to department personnel. + Cross-training in other job functions as required. + Assigning and coordinating work assignments with supervisors to meet department schedules. Skills & Qualifications: + Associate degree or BSET degree in Electronics Technology, or 3+ years of practical experience as a technician in the aerospace field. + Prior experience troubleshooting to the component level on aerospace electronics. + Understanding of basic math and engineering principles. + Basic knowledge of CAD for simple drawings. + Proficiency in reading and understanding schematics and circuitry. + Strong troubleshooting skills, including the use of oscilloscopes About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
