Job Description
Assemble and test complex mechanical/electrical systems in a cleanroom environment. Support process improvements, engineering testing, lean initiatives, and quality improvements.
ResponsibilitiesProduce products in accordance with established specifications.Observe and report ongoing problems in product construction or operation.Support solutions for product and process improvements.Manufacture and deliver high-level, complex systems according to established procedures.Solve technical problems and set an example for team members.Oversee the entire process from assembly through testing and provide expertise.Contribute to the pilot production process and transition to volume production.Develop and improve TPD, processes, records, and other relevant topics.Investigate the impact of new procedures on the production process and suggest improvements.Acquire sufficient knowledge of new and established products, processes, and systems.Pass on relevant expertise to team members.Support teamwork by implementing solutions and departmental tasks.Coordinate activities according to the production plan and monitor the practical situation.Control the use of tools, materials, and equipment closely.Essential SkillsBlueprint readingMechanical and electrical assemblyLean manufacturing and process improvementTesting and troubleshootingPrototype developmentHand tool usageCleanroom operationsElectronics and schematic understandingTest equipment proficiencyAdditional Skills & QualificationsAS or BS Degree preferred in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Chemical fields, or equivalent experienceManufacturing internship or co-op experienceLean Manufacturing Training (e.g., Intro to Lean, 5S, Kaizen, VSM) preferredMechanical skillsPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00
