Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Engineering Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be involved in the fabrication, inspection, and metrology, as well as testing and troubleshooting components and instrumentation. You will document, report, and present the results of experiments and procedures, and recommend improvements for related processes while maintaining GLP/GMP practices and reagent conformity. Following work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as required by ISO:2016 quality management systems is essential. You will also complete routine activities within the laboratory and workshop, including equipment maintenance.
ResponsibilitiesFabricate, inspect, and perform metrology, testing, and troubleshooting of components and instrumentation.Document, report, and present results of experiments and procedures.Recommend improvements for related processes while maintaining GLP/GMP practices and reagent conformity.Follow work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as required by ISO:2016 quality management systems.Complete routine activities within the laboratory and workshop, including equipment maintenance.Essential Skills4-5 years of engineering technician experience.Development experience including testing, verification activities, generating documentation, and product technical transfer.Specific work experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical regulated environment.Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methods.Practical experience in rapid prototyping techniques (e.g., CNC milling, 3D printing, laser cutting, plastic bonding techniques).3D CAD design (Solidworks).Additional Skills & QualificationsISO certificationTroubleshooting skillsInstrumentation and electronics repairWork Environment
You will be working in an R&D environment, primarily within the lab. The role requires adherence to strict quality management systems and involves hands-on work with various technologies and equipment.
