KBR is seeking an Engineering Technician (level 3, 4 or 5) to join our team supporting NAS in Patuxent River, MD.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Applies E3 engineering techniques, principles, and precedents to develop, design, modify, install, test, evaluate, and/or operate electrical, electronic, avionics, mechanical, communications, stores, armament/ordnance, or related data processing systems for military weapon systems or associated support equipment or components.Reviews, analyzes, develops, prepares, or applies E3 engineering technical maintenance specifications, policies, standards, or procedures.Organizes, analyzes, and prepares reports or presentations of technical data and information.Plans and performs E3 tests and evaluations of systems equipment or components. Compiles, processes, reduces, or analyzes E3 test data results.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School diploma or GEDOR, Completion of a technical school, trade school, or advanced armedservices technical school curriculum or course of training in electricity, electronics, avionics, mechanics, armaments/ordnance, or engineering technologyOR, at least 30 semester hours of course studies at an
accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical curriculum.
Experience: 3 to 7 of experience in performing engineering/technical functions on relevant aircraft platforms or weapons systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
It is preferred that at least 1-5 years of experience consist ofengineering/technical functions specifically in one or more disciplines of Electromagnetic Environmental Effects.
This is an SCA position.
Workplace Setting: On-Site Full Time Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week
Compensation: Engineering Tech 3: $28.79 3 YEARS EXP / Engineering Tech 4: $35.64 5 YEARS EXP / Engineering Tech 5: $43.61 7 YEARS EXP
Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation.
