**Job Description:** The **Engineering Technician** provides engineering support to process, packaging and equipment areas in Manufacturing. This position reports to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager. **JOB DUTIES** + Assists with existing equipment modifications and new equipment installations. + Provides electrical and mechanical support for new and existing equipment. + Maintains and troubleshoots engineering factory networks. + Troubleshoots and supports manufacturing equipment and process system issues. + Assists in preparation of Capital Expenditures. + Promotes and follows all safety guidelines and procedures. + Recommends safety improvements as needed. + Performs various other duties as necessary. **Qualifications** + Associate’s degree in engineering field is preferred. + 3-5 years previous manufacturing experience. + Electrical troubleshooting experience working with packaging and process systems electrics. + AC and Servo motor and drive system experience. + Vision system integration experience. + Robotic systems integration experience preferred. + Safety systems integration experience preferred. + Instrumentation including loop tuning experience. + Power distribution and troubleshooting experience. + Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics. + Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word. + Excellent communication skills required. _Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
