Job Description
We are seeking an Engineering Technician who will contribute to ongoing support and implement hardware and software upgrades on equipment and automated systems. The ideal candidate will have PLC programming experience in a manufacturing environment working with equipment.
ResponsibilitiesContribute to ongoing support of equipment and automated systems.Implement hardware and software upgrades on equipment.Program and troubleshoot PLCs in a manufacturing environment.Assist with maintenance issues on manufacturing equipment if required.Work with electrical systems and manufacturing equipment, including servo drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer.Utilize and interpret electrical drawings and documentation processes.Work with Rockwell Automation and Allen-Bradley (Studio 5000) systems.Essential SkillsAutomation experiencePLC programming and troubleshootingElectrical experience with manufacturing equipmentMechanical aptitude and experience with manufacturing equipmentAbility to work with ladder logicExperience with Allen-Bradley PLCsStrong troubleshooting skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with pneumatics, hydraulics, fluid dynamics, and heat transferKnowledge of power transmission equipment and wiringFamiliarity with servo drivesExperience with Rockwell Automation systemsWork Environment
The role will be primarily based adjacent to the production area. The position offers a generous benefits package with incentives, opportunities for training and growth within the engineering team, and a supportive team environment.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $83720.00 - $89960.00
40-hrs accrued vacation 1st year (3 month waiting period to take vacation). Able to roll 80hrs/yr once accrued.
10 Holidays (New Year's, MLK Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, July 4 & 5, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Day After, Christmas Day)
3 Medical Plans, 1 Dental plan offered.
401k elective plan - matching 50% up to 6% (if elect 6%, company to match up to 3%).

NYS Paid sick leave - accrued up to 56 hours yearly.
