We’ve got what you’re looking for. **Job Description:** Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Engineering Technician** to join our team! In this role you will work with a dedicated project team to drive forward maintenance and optimization initiatives at a complex environmental remediation site. **What You'll Be Doing:** + Respond to non-routine equipment breakdowns. + Work independently and with craft disciplines, engineers, and environmental technicians to troubleshoot pumping systems & diagnose electrical and mechanical issues. + Leverage operational data and field observations to assess pump performance and investigate issues with pumps, piping, and valves. + Troubleshoot and program control equipment including VFDs, Honeywell Controllers, Level control systems, and PLCs + Conduct routine equipment inspections and testing. + Provide additional project field support as needed. **What Required Skills You'll Bring:** + Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology or related field (or equivalent related training/certification if applicable) and typically 2+ years experience. + Prior experience with pumps and piping systems + Prior experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems. **What Desired Skills You'll Bring:** + Prior experience with different level control systems + Prior experience with VFDs and PLCs **Minimum Clearance Required to Start:** Not Applicable/None This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.
