Job Description Insight Global is looking for an Engineering Technician for a large engineering consulting firm inBluffton, SC. The ideal candidate will perform regular testing, observation, andinspection of construction projects. They will communicate about the project site andproject requirements with the PM, other engineering technicians, andthe client. Each day, they will go to the office to meet with their manager, go to the job site, perform necessary responsibilities for the client; check-in with the PM with testing results; andcontact dispatcher for another assignment or go home if work is complete. They will work on a single project site or go from project to project all within 20-35 min of theBluffton/Ridgeland area (given company vehicle for commute/paid for time in car). They will monitor fill placements, soil placements, work with concrete cylinders, andtest concrete as its placed. They will also transport material samples for further testing andanalysis, andcomplete appropriate laboratory data entry. At the end of each day, they will complete a digital report of their findings. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, maintain andclean equipment, andadhere to strict safety standards.
