Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Technician with an electrical focus to support our growing team in St. Louis, MO.

ResponsibilitiesInterface with client and distributor representativesCreate Bill Of Materials for non-engineered solutionsValidate engineered solutionsCollect entire design packages and build packagesQuote and identify alternate electrical components to optimize delivery, design, and costAct as liaison between Operations, Engineering, and the person as-buildsSchedule and execute design and manufacturing kickoffs and reviewsPerform ACAD Schematic and Design DevelopmentEssential SkillsMinimum of 2+ years exposure to industrial control panels, either in wiring builds or programming experienceIndustrial automation experienceControl panel experienceWiring skillsMinimum of 1 year experience working in a technician role in an industrial automation, fabrication, or manufacturing settingAbility to apply design, fabrication, and troubleshooting skills daily within the automation spaceFamiliarity with working with schematics and engineering drawingsExperience working with electrical components such as VFDs, PLCs, motors, and fansAbility to read electrical drawings and understand basic electrical principlesAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with AutoCAD is a plusSuccessful completion of UL certification and DGU courses when available2-3+ years of experience working in a heavy industrial, automation, or manufacturing settingExperience with fabricationCommunication skills are key for interacting with various internal and external stakeholdersExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills for design, fabrication, and troubleshootingOrganizational and interpersonal skillsDrive to grow the local and regional companyExperience with electrical panel design or strong panel building experience3-phase experience is a plusWork Environment

This position will execute and support the engineering team and report directly to the Engineering Manager. Daily activities will be facilitated by the assigned engineer. Regional travel may be required on a sporadic basis to support regional projects.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
