Engineering Technician
Job Title: Engineering Technician Job Description Assemble and test complex mechanical/electrical systems in a cleanroom environment. Support process improvements, engineering testing, lean initiatives, and quality improvements. Responsibilities + Produce products in accordance with established specifications and contribute to quality improvements. + Manufacture and deliver high-level, complex systems according to established procedures and solve technical problems. + Actively contribute to the pilot production process and the transition to volume production. + Develop and improve processes, technical product documentation (TPD), and records. + Acquire knowledge of products, processes, modifications, sub-modules, and complete systems. + Support good teamwork by seeking solutions and implementing departmental tasks. + Coordinate production plan activities and monitor the practical situation, including the use of tools, materials, and equipment. Essential Skills + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Experience with mechanical and electrical assembly. + Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement. + Proficiency in testing, troubleshooting, and using hand tools. + Experience working in a cleanroom environment. + Understanding of electronics, schematics, and test equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + AS or BS Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemical, or equivalent experience preferred. + Manufacturing internship or co-op experience. + Lean Manufacturing Training (e.g., Intro to Lean, 5S, Kaizen, VSM) preferred. + Strong mechanical skills. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
