We are seeking a skilled and motivated Engineering Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for: + Writing in-process test procedures for circuit boards. + Designing test fixtures (a plus). + Troubleshooting down to the component level. + Working closely with Engineering to support new systems development. + Loading software for system testing. + Reading schematics, wiring diagrams, or wire lists prior to system testing. + Reporting unusual and/or recurring faults and failures. + Returning defective components to Quality Assurance. + Traveling to customers to conduct inspections, installations, and repairs. + Performing other duties as requested, directed, or assigned. Top 3 Must-Have Skills: + Experience in Electrical/Electronic Testing: Minimum of 3 years in the field. + Security Clearance Eligibility: Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required). + Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of digital electronics, electrical/electronic components, and test equipment, including the use of digital oscilloscopes. Skills & Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent required. + Associates or Bachelor’s degree desirable. + Established security clearance highly desirable. + Power conversion/power supply experience desirable. + Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams. + Experience with Analog & Digital power circuits. + Self-starter with excellent communication skills. + Strong computer skills. + Some travel required to support fielded equipment, both domestic and international. Work Environment: You will be working in a standard engineering/manufacturing company. Our large building is currently being renovated to enhance manufacturing efficiency, with new equipment and advanced testing setups. We pride ourselves on being a collaborative company.
