JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Perform mechanical and or electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of all manufacturing and facilities equipment
* Supervise the upgrades/modifications to all equipment in order to maintain an 'As New Status' (Includes function and appearance).
* Identify key areas for improvement and execute the corrective action
* Manage and execute small scale equipment & facility projects
* Perform and execute Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
* Execute equipment startup, equipment support and calibration.
* Supervise contractors (plumbers, electricians, etc) and coordinate mechanical assemblies
* Communicate in timely manor relevant information pertaining specific programs and engineering disciplines.
* Lead FMEAs for equipment upgrades, changes or obsolescence.
* Utilize Root Cause Analysis in problem solving and troubleshooting.
* Train/Mentor Maintenance technicians in troubleshooting and problem solving

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* 3-5 years of applicable experience in mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering disciplines. Or entry level with a Bachelors degree in mechanical, chemical engineering or equivalent experience is required
* Construction/Contractor management
* Mechanical aptitude
* Ability to read P&ID"s/structural/mechanical/electrical prints
* Knowledgeable of engineering principles and common commercial components and the ability to apply them.
* PLC knowledge and experience
* Lean experience a plus
* Working knowledge of engineering standards and safety codes
* Working knowledge of facility related infrastructure, boilers, compressors, etc.
* Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment and processes
* Working knowledge of MS applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
* Understanding of AutoCAD use and application, working knowledge a plus.
