CTG's premier client has a contract assignment for an Eng. Multi-Discipline Technician I. Type: Contract-Hourly Consultant Job Title: Eng. Multi-Discipline Technician I Location: Erwin, NY Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Erwin, NY Pay Rate: $18 to $21/hr Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm Education: Associate degree in technical field or equivalent A successful candidate in this position will possess strong soft skills as well as: Strong attention to detail Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing Strong organizational and time management abilities Description: The Eng. Multi-Discipline Technician I is responsible for performing technical tasks related to the inspection, maintenance, and repair of multi-discipline systems. This role involves working closely with engineering and technical teams to ensure systems meet specifications, perform effectively, and comply with safety standards. The technician will conduct inspections, assist with troubleshooting, and support ongoing engineering projects. Responsibilities: Perform regular inspections of multi-discipline systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with established standards and specifications. Support engineering teams with troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues in various systems. Assist in the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment as needed. Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities. Collaborate with other teams to address issues and implement corrective actions to improve system performance. Support safety initiatives, adhere to industrial safety protocols, and report health hazards. Assist with system testing and calibration procedures to ensure optimal performance. Required Qualifications: Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience 1-3 years of experience in a multi-disciplinary technician role or similar Ability to interpret technical documentation (e.g., specifications, design prints, SOPs) Strong knowledge of industrial safety standards and best practices Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Additional Information: No third-party resumes will be accepted.
