In this role, you will work with the Applied Mechanics team to support testing of Transport Refrigeration product designs, and to address reliability with existing products in the areas of acoustics, vibrations, and fatigue. Testing includes but not limited to measuring acceleration on shaker tables, strain gauge, structural dynamics, tensile lab operations, and occasional field testing. + Support process improvement activities to individual and group work **What you will bring:** + Highschool & on the job experience required (3-5 years). Engineering technology or associates degree preferred. + Experience with hands on mechanical experience required (Ex: mechanic, service technician, fork lift mechanic, auto mechanic, farm mechanic, fabricator, etc…) + Team work experience & openness to coaching required. + Attention to detail and organization is required. + Experience with data acquisition is required, experience with high-speed data acquisition is a plus. + Experience in performing applied mechanics test is a plus. + Experience with structural data acquisition systems, both hardware and software, as well as mechanical strain measurement is a plus. + Experience with Microsoft products (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) is required. + Strong teamwork, interpersonal, & communication skills are required. **Compensation:** **Base Pay Range: $70,000-$80,000** _Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages.
