Engineering Technician II
**Overview** ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN II (E30-202-22225): Bowhead seeks an Engineering Technician II to join our Team. The Engineering Technician II performs complex and unique engineering support assignments. **Responsibilities** Job duties include but are not limited to: + Designs and constructs major units and equipment. + Develops new test procedures and measurement techniques + Conducts tests and experiments to prove/disprove feasibility of design + May provide work leadership for lower level employees + Gathering and maintaining specified records of engineering data such as tests, drawings, etc.; performing computations by substituting numbers in specified formulas; plotting data and draws simple curves and graphs. + Responding to and tracking issued work tickets + Supporting facility, assets, and equipment to maintain, repair, modify, replace, and upgrade + Providing other support as requested. + Other duties as assigned **Qualifications** + Three(3) years of experience in applying engineering services to engagement system components and assemblies. This experience should include developing and testing solutions to solve technical problems in research and development, manufacturing, inspection, and maintenance, and assisting engineers in inspecting products, conducting tests, and collecting data. + Experience with naval gun weapons systems preferred. + Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint + Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts. To receive and respond to instructions/assignments, must be able to read, write and speak English. + Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level.
