**Description** SAIC is looking for an **Engineering Technician II** to support the U.S. Navy in **Crane, IN** . **DUTIES:** + Disassembly/assembly, inspection, overhaul/sustainment and system testing of missiles and landing force munitions utilizing Standard Operating Procedures and current instructions. + Painting and stenciling of missiles and/or containers, banding of pallets and recording documentation of configuration changes. + Disassembling various types of all-up missiles and landing force munitions into subassemblies to allow for parts repair, parts replacement and/or configuration changes. + Inspecting, testing and measuring the operating characteristics of components. + Performing visual inspection and testing of components for evidence of mechanical, electrical or physical damages. + Utilizing special mechanical/electrical testing or measuring devices to perform inspection. + Documenting all actions in an electronic traveler system. **Qualifications** **REQUIREMENTS:** + High School Diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of experience. + Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance. Interim Secret needed to start. + Must be a U.S. citizen. + Must be able to use assorted hand tools. **DESIRED:** + Experience using Microsoft Outlook and Word are a plus. + Data entry experience is a plus.
