Engineering Technician II

Adecco Staffing is assisting a well-known Medical Device Manufacturing facility in Chelmsford MA with their needs for an Engineering Technician II on 1st shift.
**Hours:** 1st shift
**Pay:** $31/HR
**POSITION SUMMARY:**
Support Operations, engineering, and materials activities including, but not limited to, receipt of raw materials, assisting in the control and maintenance of inventories, maintaining production equipment and fixtures, assisting in the testing of finished devices as needed, and conducting/participating in engineering activities as directed by management.
**PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:**
· Work directly on assigned engineering tasks as directed by the manager. Tasks include but are not limited to manufacturing process improvements, qualifications (IQ, OQ, and PQ), and CEA tooling acceptance.
· Draft and route reports required for the qualification of CEA tooling, process changes, etc.
· Interact with suppliers to support process improvement projects onsite
· Utilize 3D modeling software to design, create, and maintain tooling and fixtures for the manufacturing process.
· Receive and assure proper identification and status throughout the receipt and testing process; store or assist in storing accepted raw materials in the appropriate locations.
· Perform necessary system transactions.
· Monitor the condition of manufacturing equipment and fixtures, report any observed issue to reduce or avoid process downtime. Perform repairs or adjustments if possible or remove from manufacturing until repairs can be made and perform or assist in the completion of scheduled maintenance of machines and equipment.
· Assist in testing and/or validation activities for new or modified equipment and fixtures as needed.
· Perform or assist in various engineering studies, including building test samples per instructions as provided by engineering.
· Perform necessary testing and collect data as required throughout the testing or manufacturing process and report on findings or issues encountered during these activities.
· Interact with the Managers, Supervisors, engineers, and other coworkers on a regular basis to support all manufacturing, materials, and engineering activities at the site and maintain a positive working environment.
· Maintains compliance with principles of accepted employee conduct as identified in the Teleflex Employee Handbook and as specified in departmental policies and procedures.
· Enhances growth and development through active participation in training.
· Conform to GMP safety and good housekeeping requirements for all work activities and maintain a safe work area.
· On the maintenance / tooling side I will add inventory monitoring for parts and tools
· On Experience requirements: I will add electrical, mechanical pneumatic hydraulic and troubleshooting experience
· Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
**EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS** **:**
· **High school diploma or GED equivalent, and two-year mechanical degree or relevant experience.**
· **1 to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.**
**SPECIALIZED SKILLS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS** **:**
· **English language spoken and written, grammar, spelling, mathematics, record keeping, collection and summarizing of data.**
· **Be able to display working knowledge of computer software such as MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access, and other similar or related software.**
· **Basic understanding of 3D modeling software and ability to learn new software as needed.**
· **Ability to work with moderate direction and adjust to rapidly changing priorities.**
· **Able to work independently and prioritize tasks based on the needs of the Business.**

**Pay Details:** $30.00 to $31.00 per hour
