Salary Grade NC09- $39,671-$69,426 This is an Engineering Technician II position located in the Whittier Construction Office. This position will serve as a Project Inspector on roadway and structure projects. Project Inspectors are required to review NPDES paperwork and complete assorted documentation such as daily diaries, sample cards, asphalt reports, concrete reports, pay record books, materials received forms and monthly estimates. Project Inspectors also monitor and inspect erosion control and traffic control devices, test concrete, perform densities (conventional & nuclear), take materials samples and inspect asphalt. Project Inspectors take field measurements and perform a wide range of calculations and computations to determine contract pay quantities.
