Summary The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Armaments Center (AC) serves as Army's technology leader for armament systems. DEVCOM ensures dominance of Army capabilities by researching, developing, integrating, delivering technology-enabled armament solutions to our Warfighters. Armaments Center has a long tradition as the primary research and development center for new and existing armament systems which are in use by U.S. service members around the world. Responsibilities Serve as a technician who accomplishes work of unusual difficulty and responsibility which has demonstrated technical innovation and recognized attainment. Evaluates and provides recommendations on qualification of armament suppliers performing conditioning, inspection, test, and experimentation projects to show compliance with technical data. Communicates with engineers, scientists, and program managers by advising on technical issues related to conditioning, inspection, test, and experimentation.
