What You'll Do Learn about the steel making processes at the facility including raw materials, energy, intermediate products, and final products Collect, organize, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business operations Interpret data findings and translate them into actionable recommendations to support strategic decision-making. Evaluate existing business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization. Communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and meetings. What You'll Need Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize Strong computer skills Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Database knowledge focusing on MS SQL Server, 2+ years of experience preferred Knowledge of data analytics and data warehousing Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly Experience in Python a plus, but not required Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences. Your Education High School Diploma or GED required Must be actively enrolled in an accredited university program pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field at time of internship (Junior level or higher preferred) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (preferred), Engineering, or a related discipline.We are Commercial Metals Company, a Fortune 500 company with a family feel that’s already part of your life.
