Job Title: Engineering Test Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Engineering Test Technician to join our team. The role involves component-level troubleshooting and testing of military electronics. You will work with test equipment including oscilloscopes and multimeters, focusing on the electrical testing, repair, and troubleshooting of temperature control and deicing systems for aircraft such as Boeing, Airbus, and Apache Helicopters. Approximately 50-75% of your day will consist of troubleshooting tasks.
Responsibilities
+ Perform component-level troubleshooting and repair of electrical components.
+ Conduct military electronics testing using various test equipment.
+ Work with oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and function generators.
+ Troubleshoot and test temperature control and deicing systems for aircraft.
+ Read and interpret electrical schematics and circuits.
+ Accurately fill out data sheets and write up non-conformances for records.
+ Read and interpret blueprints.
Essential Skills
+ 0-2 years of experience
+ Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology
+ Proficiency in using test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
+ Strong knowledge of electrical circuits and schematic reading.
+ Formal military electronics training or an associate's degree in electrical engineering or technology.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to accurately fill out data sheets and write up non-conformances.
+ Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00
