WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As the Engineering & Training Manager for the Nordics, you'll lead a talented team of Sales Engineers and Trainers. Your mission is to deliver exceptional pre-sales engineering support, helping us drive sales growth, and customer satisfaction. You will also oversee our Axis Academy, offering high quality courses to partners and customers. As a driven people leader you are responsible for managing, coaching and coordinating your team of high performing individuals.
In this role you will act both strategically, focusing on the long-term development of the function, and lead the operational and daily activities of the team. You will also work close to our top partners and customers and support them on complex, critical or high business potential activities.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Technical Leadership: Be the go-to contact on technology, products, and solutionsTeam Management: Actively manage and develop your high-performing team Strategic Development: Shape the future of sales engineering and training in the NordicsCustomer Engagement: Collaborate with top partners and serve as escalation point for customer technical topicsCollaboration: Collaborate with other Axis departments around events, projects and various activitiesIndustry Engagement: Keep updated on latest developments in the security industryContinuous Learning: Develop your own skills and enhance team expertiseWHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We're seeking an enthusiastic leader with a passion for technology and people development. You have a keen interest in learning about Axis technology, products and the security industry. You are a team player and have a passion for achieving results through others. We believe that the right candidate shows a proven success of working in a changing environment, balancing both strategic and operational topics daily. You have been leading and developing a team of high performing individuals with an engineering background in a fast-paced sales environment. You are an experienced leader and your open-minded approach and motivational skills make you a role model.
Travels within the Nordics is a natural part of the role and some international travels will occur.
Experience required:
Degree in Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent5+ years in people leadership roles Experience of leading and developing people with an engineering backgroundExperience in security, CCTV, or related industries Strong communication and organizational skills Fluent in Swedish and English, written and spokenWHAT CAN AXIS DO FOR YOU?
