Local 94 Operating engineers apprentice

Essential Functions

Pick up and move engineering deliveries to the final destination.Office re-arranging or moving of office furniture throughout the building.Take care of house calls and related ticket requestsPerform light-duty plumbingAssist engineering staff with any related HVAC issuesChange light bulbs in mechanical roomsKeep mechanical rooms clean and neat and paint associated equipment areasWork closely with contractors.  Assist in providing access to machinery rooms, electric closets, and other restricted areas, as assigned by the Assistant Chief Engineer or other supervisor.Maintains good tenant relations through prompt and courteous responses to tenant requests within the guidelines.Performs general maintenance within the building.

Other Functions

Whenever scheduling permits, assist the engineers in painting mechanical spaces or other mechanical work.Learn all central plant machinery and equipment, and building operation functions (HVAC, plumbing, and electrical)Maintain ethical, professional, and courteous relations with contractorsAct as a team member with all employees of the management staff.Complies with all written company local and regional policies.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

83,000.00 – 83,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
