Job Summary/Basic FunctionThe Department of English at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position (#123095) in Victorian Literature at the rank of assistant professor. The start date for the position is August 1, 2025.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach general education courses in composition and literature and undergraduate and graduate courses in British and Victorian Literature.
Required EducationA terminal degree in English or a closely related field is required by the appointment date.
Other DesirablesApplicants with expertise in women’s and gender studies, textual studies, digital humanities / digital archives, distance education, and colonial / post-colonial studies will receive special consideration.
