Group/Division

KLA has manufacturing sites across the globe, including Belgium, China, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Milpitas (CA). The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation, and Quality, is responsible for manufacturing our leading-edge technology. We partner with our world-wide supply base and our design engineering teams to bring new products to market. The GOPS team is continuously working to build our products Better, Faster, Cheaper.

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Product Development Engineers in the Central Engineering Group. The job requirement includes:

Capability to work with a cross functional engineering team to understand highly complicated technical problems and come up with solutions. The candidate is an innovative thinker and an excellent problem-solver.Be a "hands-on" engineer to integrate and test the various sub-systems. Independently carry out simulation, modeling, characterization, integration and development of the designs.The candidate is expected to gain a detailed functional understanding of the entire product. Be able to analyze the high-level product requirements to allocate them onto the sub-systems.The candidate is expected to travel both domestically and internationally to support our customers, and work with our vendors as well as KLA global teams.

Minimum Qualifications

·       Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Physics, Engineering or related field is preferred.

·       Strong data analysis and problem solving skills.

·       Experience in integrating systems with multiple subsystems such as optics, electronics, data acquisition, motion control, etc.

·       Good English communication skills. Willing to travel worldwide.
