The ENL teacher is responsible for guiding English Language Learners toward gaining proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing. The ENL teacher is also responsible for overseeing the testing process for students identified as English Language Learners. The ENL teacher will play a role in the instructional model within the school by working closely with the classroom teacher in a co-teacher role as well as providing pull-out services for those students that require it. The selected teacher will be accountable for building strong and positive relationships with students and families, using data to tailor their instruction, and actively engaging in collaboration with their colleagues. Part-Time Schedule Location: In Person Minimum Requirements: + + Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred. + Minimum two years of urban teaching preferred. + New York State teacher license/certification required. + Dual certification in Special Education or TESOL preferred.
