**About the job:**
Recruits, advises, educates, consults, and supports applicants enrolling in Mount Carmel College of Nursing degree programs. This position is responsible for communication throughout the admissions funnel from prospect to enrollment. The results of the actions of this position are monitored on quality of overall communication with prospective students and their families, outbound and inbound calls, lead contact activity, applications, attitude, and working relationship.
*Provide essential information related to admissions requirements and enrollment processes to prospective students.
*Communicates directly with all student prospects and leads in all phases of the enrollment process, by answering questions, directing /scheduling them to critical information sources such as Financial Aid, Registrar Bursar and faculty and clarifying the admissions process by facilitating in their actual enrollment.
*Experience delivering student-centric customer service
*Builds rapport and provides guidance for students interested in obtaining a degree, keeps communication active and on-going throughout the entire enrollment process.
*Receive and follows-up on potential students via Teams videoconference, phone, email, text, and direct mail student inquiries relating to obtaining degrees that are offered by MCCN.
*Provide essential information related to admissions requirements and enrollment processes to prospective students.
*Assess potential applicants and determine if they are qualified to apply and enroll in various degree programs.
*Qualify and advise students for various nursing degree programs and makes contact with academic program leads when necessary.
*Searches and analyses transcripts; determines whether transcripts satisfy prerequisite completion; records results in database; tracks and reevaluates application status as new transcripts are received.
*Consult with college staff, student services, academic affairs and the president as well other departments to ensure an excellent student experience.
**Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)**
+ Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
+ Licensure / Certification: Not applicable
+ Experience: Experience in college recruitment and admissions, marketing, public relations and/or counseling.
+ Effective Communication Skills
+ Strong computer skills required with some database management.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of an office team.
+ Must be a self starter and problem solver.
+ Ability to analyze data and make recommendations.
+ Must have a valid Ohio driver's license and good driving record.
+ Ability to travel throughout state of Ohio.
+ Ability to work some evenings and weekends.
