Job Title Enrollment Assistant Posting Number F006305 Position Status Full Time Assignment Length Not Applicable Grant Funded No Category Clerical Class Code 35 Starting Pay $34,424 Special Note Location Trinity River Department DT Registrar Job Summary Reporting to the Registrar, the Enrollment Assistant performs a variety of entry to mid-level clerical and administrative duties related to processing student admissions applications and related information. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Essential Performance Requirements* Reviews applications and enters data into the Tarrant County College (TCC) System Processes readmission requests, updating demographic information, residency, academic history, and academic status Receives and processes incoming high school transcripts; verifies graduation status, inputs GPA; analyzes test scores to determine eligibility to be exempt from testing Assists students and prospective students in person, by phone, and in writing; provides instructions based on TCC policies and procedures Processes documents, forms, reports and files including processing Community and Industry Education registrations Maintains knowledge of state regulations and TCC policies and procedures; applies knowledge to the application process Enters reports, business correspondence, applications, and other specialized forms into the student information system Scans and retrieves documents, files records and reports, posts information to records, sorts and distributes mail, answers phones, and performs similar duties


Service Excellence Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC) Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College

Required Minimum Qualifications High school diploma / GED and one (1) year’s working experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements; or an equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred Qualifications Associate’s degree or 60 college hours completed Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Skilled in excellent customer service and interpersonal relationships Skilled using computerized applications and enterprise systems, including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment Physical Demands and Work Environment Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representatives of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
