Enrollment Coordinator - One Stop Enrollment Services (Multiple Positions) **POSITION DETAILS** Founded in 1971 in Long Island City, Queens, LaGuardia Community College is one of seven community colleges of the City University of New York/CUNY. LaGuardia offers more than sixty associate degree and certificate programs, as well as dozens of workforce training, ESOL, GED, and pre-college programs. In 2023, LaGuardia served approximately 25,000 students. More than one-third of our degree-seeking students were born outside of the United States, coming to LaGuardia from 136 countries and speaking forty-three heritage languages. More than half are first-generation college students. Sixty-nine percent live in Queens; the rest live in Brooklyn and beyond. Approximately two-thirds of our degree students receive financial aid. The Enrollment Coordinator will serve as a central point of contact for the university community, emphasizing exceptional customer service and student retention. They are cross-trained to assist all students with inquiries related to financial aid, enrollment, billing and payments, and registration, focusing on the entire student life cycle. The Enrollment Coordinator will help coordinate the daily operations of enrollment services, ensuring a positive, student-centered experience for both students and the university community. The role adopts a holistic approach, providing accessible support in both, in-person and virtual environments, with a strong commitment to fostering student success. Reporting to the Director of Enrollment Services, the Enrollment Coordinator will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties: + Assist the Director of Enrollment Services in coordinating daily operations and fostering collaboration with the enrollment services team; + Serve as the first point of contact for students, using a pro-active, student-centered approach to help them find solutions and access essential resources; + Provide personalized customer service by understanding students’ needs and implementing a holistic student servicing model that supports them throughout the enrollment process; + Coordinate and outreach efforts and large-scale campaigns to enhance student enrollment, retention, graduation rates, and timely program completion; + Collaborate with university offices to identify and address enrollment barriers, ensuring student success; + Deliver accurate information on enrollment policies (Admissions, Registration, Financial Aid, and Bursar) and guide students in navigating the enrollment process, including applications, deadlines and course selection; + Analyze processes to identify common issues, facilitating discussions to improve the overall customer experience; + Develop and coordinate communication strategies on a wide range of student success topics; + Train and supervise part-time student staff members and ambassadors, while developing the Red Hawk Student Ambassador Program; + Perform other duties as assigned. **QUALIFICATIONS** Bachelor's Degree required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS + Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously + Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, with a commitment to equity and inclusion + Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process improvements + Familiarity with technology and data management tools related to enrollment services. **CUNY TITLE OVERVIEW** Supports student enrollment activities and processing. - Provides direct student services and works collaboratively with other units to support registration, payment, and related activities - Conducts workshops on enrollment management services and processes - Counsels students, staff and faculty on academic registration, admissions, testing, and related processing - Manages student information databases and resolves issues with student records and transactions - Ensures compliance with college, Federal, and New York State regulations and policies - Creates and updates content for web pages, bulletins, and other media to ensure effective communications to students and campus community - May supervise clerical and/or part-time staff and coordinate work schedules - Performs related duties as assigned. **CUNY TITLE** Assistant to HEO **FLSA** Non-exempt **COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS** $44,411 - $79,726 Salary commensurate with education and experience.
