Enrollment Engagement Coordinator

The Enrollment Engagement Coordinator utilizes knowledge of Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) system technology to implement and support ongoing efforts of School of Education recruitment, admission, and enrollment. The Admission Engagement Coordinator is responsible for crafting clear and concise messaging with which to contact prospective students through events, email, and tele recruiting efforts. In addition to the position-specific duties, the Enrollment Engagement Coordinator will participate in office-wide recruitment efforts, committees and panels, and assist as needed in online and virtual admission- and recruitment-related programs, activities, and/or events. This position reports to the School of Education and Human Development’s Director of Admission, Recruiting, and Enrollment Strategies.

Duties and responsibilities:

Develops, implements, and measures the effectiveness of integrated strategic engagement plans, ensuring differentiation by program level and delivery modality.

Utilizes admission funnel data to inform short- and long-range engagement goals.

Monitors enrollment targets, recruitment objectives, tactics, and strategies.

Collaborates with faculty and staff engaged in admission and recruitment to promote best practices in admission and recruitment and to provide support in use of the CRM tool.

Drafts promotional materials and informational articles, such as emails, web page content, forms, newsletters, and testimonials in collaboration with EHD’s Office of Communication and Marketing.

In CRM, builds, runs, maintains strategic engagement communications for prospective undergraduate and graduate student populations including ad-hoc communications, campaigns, admission- and event-related messages.

In collaboration with EHD’s Office of Communication and Marketing, oversees, organizes and tracks engagement plans to ensure accuracy, consistency, and effectiveness.

Participates in recruitment functions and programs as a representative of the School of Education and Human Development’s Office of Admission and Student Affairs.

Directs the activities of Student Ambassadors corps including training and regular meetings, booking appointments, coordinating attendance at in person and virtual events, and facilitating social media engagement.

Pulls and runs daily/weekly reports to ensure work optimization and understanding of engagement and prospective student activity.

Applies creativity and technical and professional judgment to resolve administrative and technical challenges.

Ensures accurate and timely functions of administrative services as they relate to the recruitment process; shows initiative to ensure timely follow-up on administrative tasks.

Builds and maintains cooperative working relationships with School of Education and Human Development academic and student service representatives, departments, and offices.

Develops, utilizes, and stays current with various forms of enrollment marketing communication and non-profit engagement tools and strategies.

Represents the University, its missions, policies, and procedures to a broad range of constituents.

Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
Experience: At least four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Basic HTML/CSS coding knowledge.

Photo editing (with programs such as Photoshop).

Physical Demands
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.

Compensation: $55,000 with UVA benefits.
