\nEnrollments - Program Supervisor \n

What We're Looking For: \n

We are looking for a Supervisor for our Enrollments Department who is committed to excellence and the mission, goals and values of Crystal Stairs. Under the general supervision of the Enrollments Coordinator the Enrollments Program Supervisor is primarily responsible for delivering services to families under the subsidized child care assistance program. The Supervisor manages a team of Program Specialists and other support staff, and coordinates activities in support of the delivery of services. In this critical position you will monitor caseloads and terminations to ensure enrollment flow is consistent with expenditure projections; prepare and submit reports. You will participate in staff and management meetings to identify workflow needs, staff development and training needs, and provide opportunities for in-house training and\/or external workshops, seminars and conferences.\n

Other key duties include: \n\n\nSupervise the provisions of the Case Management Services and contract requirements.\n\n\nEnsure that program staff achieves performance standards and contract requirements, while providing excellent internal and external customer service.\n\n\nParticipate in the overall planning and evaluation of program operations, quality control and client services.\n\n\nTrack and monitor performance, conduct and attendance of employees including timely submission of e-time.\n\n\nProvide direction, leadership and coaching to staff members by conducting periodic staff meetings and frequent check-ins.\n\n\nProvide opportunities for employees to develop their competencies.\n\n\nProvide appropriate staff development, including corrective action when necessary and conduct Performance Evaluation Process in timely manner.\n\n\nSelect and hire well-qualified, talented staff that reflects labor market diversity.\n\n\nRepresent the program and agency at professional organizations and community meetings\n\n\nEXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES YOU SHOULD POSSESS:\n\nMinimum 2 years of supervisory experience preferred; leadership experience.\nB.A. or B.S. degree in social services, social welfare or related field; relevant work experience may be substituted for college level education.\nKnowledge of contractual requirements for the California Department of Education and agency policies and procedures preferred.\nMust have knowledge of County, State and Federal provider contract requirements for Alternative Payment and Child Care Subsidy Programs.\nStrong time management, organizational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.\nAbility to organize, prioritize and delegate workflow.\nAbility to exercise of independent discretion and judgment in determining course of action for specific situations.\nExcellent written and oral communications skills in order to prepare and deliver effective public presentations to a variety of audiences.\nExcellent customer service skills and experience working with a diverse client base.\nAbility to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.\nIntermediate to Advanced experience with MS Word, Excel and databases.\nAbility to apply program guidelines and follow procedures.\nAbility to analyze complex information and develop creative, effective and efficient solutions.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to multi-task\n\n
