Welcome to Saint Joseph Hospital, a 433-bed hospital founded in 1877 by the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth as the first Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Responsibilities

The Enterostomal Therapist is an advanced practice nurse who functions in an expanded nursing role.  The ET has completed education in Enterostomal Therapy and demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge base in a specialty practice area.  The ET provides direct patient care services to support patient care, promote professional education, and advance knowledge through research and scholarly activities

Qualifications

Required Education for Staff Job Levels

Graduate of an accreditied school of nursing

Required Licensure and Certifications

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky

Enterostomal Therapy certificate

WOCN certification preferred

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Minimum of 3 years full-time equivalent experience as RN in specialty area.
