The Account Executive will be focused on bringing in new customers for the Sustainability Consulting & Energy Services business as part of the Sustainability Unit Business of Siemens SI Buildings. This role will be a national role focused on selling digital and consultative sustainability and energy management services and solutions offerings that enable customers to operate their buildings more efficiently, control and reduce their costs, mitigate their risks and realize their sustainability commitments. The successful candidate can be located anywhere in the US where there is a major airport as this is a remote position

As a Enterprise Account Executive, you will:

Identify and acquire new customers with particular focus on the following strategic offerings: decarbonization planning and sustainability consulting, carbon emissions reporting, enterprise utility data management and bill payment, energy supply and renewables procurement, energy market and renewable advisory, risk management, budget forecasting, energy efficiency, digital and physical energy management systems and platforms.Engage and influence executive-level decision makers by demonstrating a thorough understanding of their business strategy and communicate how our SEM offerings will improve their business results.Develop and execute effective account development strategies using Continuous Data Analysis to positively impact the executive-level decision maker’s core business.Increase share of wallet, revenue, and customer satisfaction.Grow a network of Siemens sponsors and supporters at multiple levels within the named accounts as well as the ability to fully develop new accounts within the enterprise market.Performs strategic account development to align customer-specific needs with SEM services and solutions and differentiating from the competition.Demonstrates strategic thinking by anticipating future trends through looking outward at the customer's market, competition, and alternatives.Persists in the pursuit of account strategies exhibiting strength of purpose and determination in the face of challenges.Effectively manages the buying and selling process by involving a network of key players to solve customer operational issues to help them achieve their business objectives.

You will make an impact with these qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in sustainability consulting and energy services including deep understanding of sustainability trends, regulations and industry commitments and frameworks ( e.g., SBTi, CRREM RE100, etc.), energy conservation and generation projects, energy procurement, budgeting, energy commodity risk management, utility bill management services, energy and renewable market advisory.Demonstrated experience with growing significant customer relationships interfacing with executive level decision makers preferably in industrial, manufacturing and retail markets.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with customers, management, and team members to achieve a complex set of goals.Demonstrated experience working with large enterprise customers and building portfolios.Demonstrated ability to demonstrate critical thinking skillsDemonstrated experience in strategic business planningDemonstrated motivation  to acquire new clients, expand relationships and support business growth objectives.Demonstrated strong financial business acumen.Demosntrated strong background in value-based consultative sellingDemosntrated excellent written and verbal communication skillsB.A. or equivalent work experienceApplicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization

The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
