Kforce has a client looking for a Enterprise Application Support Level 2 in the NY tristate area. Responsibilities: * Designs information flow and content solutions for existing systems and advises on database concepts and functional capabilities in order to translate business requirements into environment specific databases * Coordination, utilization and administration of InterSystems IRIS relational databases and other file organization and access methods running the InterSystems Ensemble software including the Ensemble IRIS database/integration engine * Help to document both existing and new systems and processes * Research new technologies and products in consideration * Assist with planning, implementation and monitor backups * Assist in the designing of information flow and content solutions for existing systems to structure and access databases * Advises on database concepts and functional capabilities and submits recommendations for solutions * Help to monitors, evaluates, and maintains systems and procedures to protect the data systems and databases from unauthorized users and recommends corrective actions to ensure data security * Help to implement data restore and recovery plans and procedures to protect and continue data system and database activities that support broader emergency or disaster recovery plans * Provides technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to less-experienced individuals * Participates in the establishment of policies and procedures pertaining to data management, maintenance, and utilization * Coordinates installation of revised or new systems * Documenting, researching and troubleshooting reported issues and requests * Triage requests or issues to ensure that our service level agreements (SLA) are achieved * Coordinates the activities of the various segments of the department to assure timely and economical completion of projects
