This in-depth understanding of how health care works at the local level is one of our great strengths. We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Enterprise Architect. POSITION SUMMARY The Enterprise Architect will ensure that clinical applications strategically align with Ardent business initiatives and enterprise IT standards. This position will lead the overall design, architecture, implementation, training, documentation and operational support of clinical applications. This includes the integration/interface of clinical applications with other enterprise applications, the clinical data warehouse as well as other tools, technologies and services Responsibilities Provide advanced level of support for servers, storage systems and infrastructure services. This individual may lead and direct the work of others on occasion to accomplish the common goals of the Operations team. Participate in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure system provisioning and maintenance is consistent with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. Manage clients, complex projects, drive business requirement gathering, manage scope and client expectations. Designs long-term, reliable, and end-to-end technical architectures. Develop functional architecture design and contribute to product vision. Evaluate and recommend software to solve business needs through buy versus build approach and extensive research of the marketplace including industry research such as Gartner. Transforms detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team and developers/testers. Assist with the implementation of new technologies and verify that all procedural. documentation is accurate, and that knowledge transfer from the design phase to engineering is completed prior to any technology being placed in the Production environment. Act as a contributor to enterprise level strategic projects, meeting milestone deadlines, and accomplishing project action items. Required to administer data within corporate change, problem management and request systems; monitor assignment and completion of efforts documented in these systems; and properly escalate issues to management. Through escalations this role may serve as a point of contact for interactions with vendors on issue resolution. Analyze monitoring data to recognize trends and create proactive solutions to prevent recurring issues. Maintain operations of enterprise shared services and assist application teams as needed. Facilitate training, coaching, and mentoring junior team members to promote their skills development. Qualifications Education & Experience Required-degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent technical training. Required-MCSE, VCP, or AZ900/MS900 Certification TOGAF 9/10 Certification Preferred Minimum of ten years of experience in information technology, preferably in the healthcare industry Minimum of ten years of experience working with Intel servers. Minimum of seven years of experience working in VMware and Citrix environment. Prior healthcare experience preferred. Project management experience as it relates to user and server migration. Working knowledge and experience with ITIL foundation processes/ITIL Certification. Experience with SolarWinds Orion monitoring. Experience with Cisco UCS and IBM server platforms. Extensive experience with securing a Microsoft server environment. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Extensive knowledge of Microsoft 2012, 2016, 2019, and 2022 Server Platforms. Extensive knowledge of core infrastructure services (DNS, DHCP, IIS, AD group policies, Exchange, File Services, etc.) Extensive knowledge supporting and administering enterprise applications such as VMware, VDI solutions such as VMware View or XenDesktop, Rightfax services, Exchange services, SCCM, and Citrix Presentation Server. Extensive knowledge with clustering and highly available network solutions across multiple data centers using global load balancers and local load balancers. Expert at troubleshooting complex problems. Broad knowledge of systems management, scripting and automation. Broad knowledge of storage solutions including SAN, NAS, CIFs, NFS, replication, deduplication. Strong working knowledge of Scripting. Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws (HIPAA, PCI).
