About the Role
Workday is looking for an outstanding Technical Presales Specialist to be a part of our specialised Solution Consulting team supporting and promoting the technical aspect of the selling engagement.
This is your chance to represent and sell the next generation of ERP cloud applications. Through interactive discoveries, you will analyse an organization's needs and demonstrate how Workday's Enterprise Applications can address the customer’s requirements and solve their strategic business concerns with the special focus on technical integration into the existing IT landscape of the customer. Expect this to involve presenting to all levels of IT, demonstrating functionality in Workday and building rapid prototypes.
Responsibilities:
Articulating the value and expanding adoption of the Workday platform (including platform of acquired products) to different buyer stakeholders / C-Levels, in particular the CIO.Centre of Excellence for technical topics on Workday Extend, Strategic Sourcing and Planning.Describing the technical architecture of the Workday solutions.Highlighting the advantages of a cloud based SaaS offering vs traditional on-premise installations.Discussing the fit and value of Workday’s Extend offering for potential buyer use cases.Creating an engaging experience for the prospect’s technically oriented audience.Understanding and communicating the Security, Data Privacy, Performance and Support aspects of the Workday SaaS offering.

About You
Candidates interested in joining the Workday Solution Consulting team as an Enterprise Architect must exhibit a strong combination of technical skills, industry experience and an unimpeachable “stage presence”. Articulating and differentiating the Workday technical foundation and delivery model requires:
3+ years of software / IT presales experienceA strong technical knowledge including but not limited to:Java scripting, Python , Data modelling skills or other modern programming languages including working with REST/SOAP APIs for integrations.Software as a Service work experience and/or knowledge of the delivery model and associated characteristicsComprehensive security background covering encryption technologies, network architectures, communications security, SAML (single sign-on), and application level access methodsExperience with prospect/customer internal security and compliance teamsAbility to communicate a technical foundation, platform and delivery model in a compelling, creative and easily understandable fashion for diverse audiences (from technical specialists up to C-level)Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Basic Qualifications:
4+ years of expertise with technical knowledge of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and Cloud Architectures; preferably in ERP Financials and/or Human Capital Management domains4+ years' experience presenting to technical, business, and executive audiences both in-person and virtually
