Here’s what the opportunity supported through our TGS Talent Acquisition Team requires: Job Description We are looking for a lead architect who can work with our clients to be an Executive Advisor for Data Center customers. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering thought-leading advisory and consulting engagements to clients. The Lead Architect’s work will be integral to TEKsystems Global Service’s mission of providing assistance and guidance to Enterprise clients in the areas of vision, strategy, enterprise, domain architecture, and road mapping. The Lead Architect role will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that leverage the latest technologies and best practices to deliver value to our customers. The lead architect is crucial to TGS’s success and we are excited to welcome a new team member who is ready to make a significant impact. Responsibilities • Work with clients to understand their business goals, challenges, and opportunities for innovation • Identify a clients value stream aligned to business areas • Define and communicate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the innovation model • Leverage deep expertise in Datacenter, Cyber-Resiliency, and Cloud. Lead and deliver end-to-end advisory and consulting engagements, from roadmap design to high-level technical services and solution strategies using a structure and methodical approach • Design Datacenter, Cyber-Resiliency, Cloud services and solutions that meet business and technology requirements to deliver successful client outcomes • Build strong client relationships with technical and business leaders as a trusted advisor • Develop creative and effective strategies and solutions that maximize client value • Lead and mentor a team of architects and developers who will work with you on innovation projects • Ensure quality, security, and scalability of architected solutions Continuously monitor and incorporate the latest industry trends and best practices into the innovation model Qualifications • 15+ years of experience in senior information technology leadership (strategy, architecture, and engineering roles preferred) relating to Datacenter, Cyber-Resiliency, and Cloud • 5+ years of technology consulting experience roles in Datacenter, Cyber-Resiliency, and Cloud strongly preferred • Deep Datacenter and Cloud experience, with a solid “generalist” working knowledge of multiple IT technology domains (network, applications, software development, DevOps, etc.) relevant to large enterprise IT teams (F500, ideally F100) • Strong preference is given to active, relevant industry and/or vendor architect-level certifications in Datacenter and Cloud • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related experience strongly preferred • Advanced technical degree in computer science, engineering or MBA is beneficial • Self-starter and self-directed with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills, exceptional listener, and ability to connect with different personalities • Demonstrated business acumen and executive presence • Strong user of modern collaboration and office automation tools and services • Creative, thought-leading, and innovative thinker but grounded in practical realities is essential • Enjoys and maintains a culture of self-driven, lifelong learning. Skills: Design, Gray space, ITC Design, Pre-Sales, Enterprise architecture, Solution architecture Additional Skills & Qualifications: Required Education and/or Experience: • Bachelors Degree or equivalent, relevant experience • 10+ years’ experience in information technology and/or professional services, with emphasis on subject matter expertise • Experience in delivering projects/programs, delivering and administrating client professional services agreements including the change management process. • Frequent interactions with external customers at the Director level or above; normal level of interactions is the CXO level; established consulting and interpersonal skills with 15+ years’ experience • 10+ years in IT service management/project management delivering projects/programs and daily delivery/consulting oversight within a professional services environment or equivalent, relevant experience in managing resources in appropriate environment.
