Our Opening and Your ResponsibilitiesThe Architecture, Projects & Governance (APG) team is a globally acting group that handles all cross functional topics within the Digital Business Solutions Organization. The team is split into different smaller teams covering Portfolio Management, Vendor Management, Quality Management and Controls, Methodology and Processes, Enterprise Architecture and Business Relations & Communication. For our global APG organization we are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect (all genders).
In this role, your responsibilities would include: You define opportunities to create business value and identify the required capabilities to realize themBased on the divisional strategy, you identify future IT capabilities and assess their feasibility in terms of architecture, technology and servicesYou develop and own the IT roadmap, architectural principles, standards, policies and solution governanceYou drive smarter technology investments by driving changes in application, infrastructure, process and IT tools architectureYou are responsible for Requirements collection and translation into valuable concepts and specifications and define long-term target state for each layer and translate it into a technology roadmapYou create a survey of the current architecture and development of target architectures, gap analyses and roadmapsYou support the domain architects with solution designs, compliance topics and building their network within MTWhat You Need to SucceedFollowing requirements are necessary for this role: You have a Master/ Bachelor degree in Informatics, Computer Science or equivalent You bring at least 5 years of experience in IT tools architecture & designing IT solutions if possible gained in a global manufacturing companyYou have strong knowledge of architecture frameworks, concepts and best practices with distinctive strategic planning capabilities, such as TOGAF, Zachmann or SAFE ArchitectureExperience with ServiceNow CMDB Module and Reports is a plusYou are a networker with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and present at different management levelsIn addition, you have the ability to work in a global environment (cultural awareness) and in a fast moving environment and drive topics on your own, with a critical yet result-oriented attitude You are absolutely fluent in English, German is a plusWillingness to travel (up to 20%)Our Offer to YouWe offer:Flexible working hours (depending on the role), a hybrid work model, and a wide portfolio of training opportunitiesA 40-hour work week with at least 25 vacation days per year, plus 4 to 7 additional days off between bank holidaysFree parking and direct access to public transportHealthy lunches cooked onsite at our own METTLER TOLEDO restaurant, with special prices for employees A range of additional attractive benefits, including employee discounts at select area businessesYou can expect challenging, interesting, and varied tasks in an innovative and international environment, with the opportunity to network globally and achieve your career goals.
