Job Description:
TITLE - Google Workspace Technical Product Manager
Overview
The Google Workspace Technical Product Manager will report to the Manager, Employee Messaging & Services, and will be responsible for ensuring execution of key Google Workspace roadmap initiatives. The person in this role will work closely with the rest of the Google Workspace team, in addition to cross-functional IT teams to drive business objectives.
Scope of Work
Work with the Manager and Architect to develop and maintain the product roadmap for Google Workspace services, aligning with organizational goals.
Collaborate with the Google Workspace team to deliver new features and enhancements for the platform on time and within scope.
Utilize Agile methods to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Google Workspace projects, including planning, execution, monitoring and delivery.
Serve as a subject matter expert for the Google Workspace platform at Client, providing technical guidance and support to other teams and stakeholders as needed.
Ensure documentation of the platform is up-to-date as new features and enhancements are implemented, including platform architecture documentation, knowledge base articles for L1/L2 support as well as users, and standard operating procedures for the Google Workspace team.
Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team to ensure that all Google Workspace solutions and processes comply with Client Cybersecurity policies.
Maintain regular communication with stakeholders and leadership for project status updates and system changes.
Requirements
Bachelor"s degree in Information Systems or related field
Minimum of 3 years experience as a Technical Product Manager
Experience with and strong knowledge of Google Workspace applications
Collaborative, problem-solving mentality and behavior
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (Jira)
Proven ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Skills
Written communication: Create comprehensive documentation of business requirements, data analysis, proposed solutions, and process instructions.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies.
Familiarity with IT Cybersecurity and compliance requirements
Google Workspace administration certification
