Enterprise Architect
**Description** SAIC is looking for a talented Enterprise Architect to join our Operations and Maintenance Division - Requires competence in Information Technology (IT), Enterprise Architecture, Capital planning, IT investment management, Systems Development Life Cycle Management (SDLCM), Agile, software and infrastructure architecture modeling and business process reengineering in financial and healthcare sectors. Provides advice and guidance regarding the design, development, operation, and support of complex Information Technology systems or processes. Design and implement features in collaboration with team engineers, product owners, data analysts, and business partners using Agile / Scrum methodology. This is a full-time position located in Austin, TX, with remote work consideration. Veterans are encouraged to apply. LCAT - CEA IV The ideal candidate will be located within the Austin, TX area. **Responsibilities:** + Lead and provide direction working in multiple EA Domains (Business, Technology, Cloud, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Network Infrastructure, Data, Security, andGovernance) to implement FSC Vision, Mission Goals, Objectives, and Business Strategy, and help lead the translation of the business strategy into a technical strategy. + Demonstrate expertise in System, Data, Security, Infrastructure, AWS, Azure and Hybrid Cloud, and Technology Architecture Domains + Demonstrate expertise in establishing Enterprise Design Patterns. Architecture Domain Diagrams, and Best Practices for Architecture and Design. + Demonstrate expertise in establishing Architecture Logical and Physical Diagrams, and Best Practices for Solution Architecture and Design including customization and implementation. + Demonstrate expert working knowledge of iFAMS processing and API integration architecture. + Conduct team reviews and recommend, iFAMS Integrator design improvements. + Design the APIs and integration models for IBM B2B Integrator with healthcare claims and financial X12 and HL7 processing. + Develop, maintain, and review healthcare claims processes and architecture for both on-premises and cloud-based systems. + Conduct X12 and HL7 transaction processing with external trading partner systems into IBM B2B Integrator using standard APIs. + Be able lead and collaborate on enterprise architecture design principles and define standards for the same. + Drive and produce high-quality work products within expected timeframes. + Monitor progress, manage risk, and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes. + Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business. + Provide constructive on-the-job feedback/coaching to team members. + Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment. + Understand assigned clients and their service lines and actively assess/present ways to improve. + Demonstrate deep technical capabilities and professional knowledge with financial processing. + Demonstrate ability to quickly assimilate to new knowledge and produce on time deliverables. + Produce highly detailed document artifacts and maintain them for the duration of projects. **Qualifications** **Qualifications:** + In-depth knowledge of EA processes such as Project Intake, Solution Architecture, SAFe Agility, TOGAF, SDLCM, iFAMS, legacy to Cloud architecture transition planning, risk analysis, alternative analysis, and performance management. + Bring knowledge and expertise in integrating trading partner technologies with iFAMS financial enterprise API Integrator, as well as experience with governance of financial operations. + Knowledge of the Veterans Affairs Architecture Framework (VAAF), Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) + Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA), Federal Segment Architecture Methodology (FSAM) and Frameworks + Knowledge of financial payroll and accounting systems, electronic healthcare, and financial claims processing + Unicom System Architect and Visio tool hands-on experience with logical software and physical infrastructure architecture SV02 diagrams is required. + In-depth knowledge of working with SharePoint and PowerPoint documents + ServiceNow ITIL and incident management is required. + Hands-on experience producing Business Enterprise Architecture Assessments with business requirements, high level technical solution, cost estimate, resource requirements, security, and solution architecture options. + Hands-on experience in API architecture with trading partners in Cloud and multiple partner systems. + Demonstrate experience with complex coding through ETL tools such as Informatica. + Demonstrate experience with SOA using MuleSoft, Oracle Service Bus, JBoss or other ESBs. + Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills across multiple levels of the organization. + BPMN and Data Modelling exposure is recommended. **Required Qualifications:** + Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering, Mathematics preferred + 10 - years relevant experience required + At least Ten years' experience providing internal/external consulting services to management and technical staff in solving business and/or IT related issue + 8 - years of relevant experience may be substituted for education + Related certifications in iFAMS + Related certifications in SOA, MuleSoft, JBoss or other ESBs + Related certifications in TOGAF + Related certifications in Azure or AWS + Excellent verbal and written communication skills and team skills + Attention to detail and excellent customer service + Ability to work well in a team environment + Capable to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines **Preferred Experience:** + At least Ten years’ experience providing internal/external consulting services to management and technical staff in solving business and/or IT related issues. + At least four years’ experience coordinating and/or supporting EA governance activities (i.e., Exhibit 300 reviews) or Capital Planning Control reviews from an EA perspective. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills and team skills + Attention to detail and excellent customer service. + Ability to work well in a team environment. + Capable to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
